Mud all over road from building site
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:26, Thu 26 September 2019
Sent to Essex County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1782461.
Wet mud continually over the main road, I know they periodically clean the road, but they need to enforce wheel-washing before vehicles leave site. It really is a serious hazard, especially for motorcycles - it's like riding on ice.

The road is still extremely muddy although the contractor has made a rather pathetic effort to clean up some of the mess. The kerb is only being cleaned for approximately one hundred meters or so allowing a build up of earth and stones in the drains. This can only result in blockages, flooding and in the onset of winter, ice .Mud is present all the way down the road surface.Rawreth lane can be a very dangerous road in bad weather without this behavior of the contractor . Please make it safe for all road user and not just a service road for a builder.

Today is the 13 November 2019. Nothing has been done to clean up the mess along Rawreth Lane since the previous report. Only the road directly outside the site entrance is being kept clean Perhaps the site manager should go to Specsavers and then Have a look at what iis not being done to clean up the mud and stones that is being deposited all the way down Rawreth Lane and not just outside his gate by his lorries.
