Graffiti & damage

Reported in the Graffiti category anonymously at 03:30, Wed 6 April 2011

Sent to Cardiff Council 5 minutes later

Youths who regularly gather at Porlock Road garages have sprayed graffiti on various garage doors. They have also damaged the wall where it joins the roof on garage number 20 & number 22.There is an ongoing history of fly tipping & other anti social problems in this garage area. The police are aware of this & are trying to deal with it. Residents feel if demolished garage number 21 was rebuilt, it would reduce the problems. People could not loiter or fly tip in this spot without being seen. Currently this corner is hidden from public view. The money saved on dealing with these problems, together with the ongoing revenue raised by renting the garage would cover the financial outlay to rebuild it.Please can the garage be rebuilt & the graffiti be removed. Thanks
