For 2 months now (Started in August 2019), continuous pipe work/street work is causing the entire neighbourhood on both sides of Upper North Street/Bow Common Lane (E34EF) to be in constant distress due to impatient motorist and car drivers hooting and accelerating at the temporary street traffic lights - day time and especially at night time. 1. It is not save for pupils going to a big secondary school in the area, because the temporary pedestrian lane is being constantly removed, the street is extremely narrow and not properly adjusted for both car and pedestrian and is extremely polluted due to the high traffic. 2. The noise pollution in the street is unbearable. The temporary traffic lights are not being followed by drivers, causing constant arguments between drivers, honking and acceleration, which can be heard in every flat.
