3 to 4 inches of water on pavement, 6 to 8 at side of the road.
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:24, Tue 24 September 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1778711.
After any period of heavy rain, even less than 10 minutes, the pavement and about 2 foot out at side of the road, are flooded and you can't get out of the house (unless wearing wellies) this happens all along the pavement and road from about number 61 to number 51, Chaplin Rd. This has happened for as long as I've lived here, but seems to be worse the last 2 years. The council have attended to this same problem a couple of times in recent months, last time they said they believed there is a problem deeper down as they had been to clear the drain not so long ago.

Here are some photos. They don’t show the extent of the problem but show the depth of the water. I think it was Bristol water or Wessex water who attended previously and said the problem was a complicated one and needed some further investigation as they had cleared the drains previously.
