Insufficient lighting on VALLEY DRIVE

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 12:09, Mon 23 September 2019

Sent to North Yorkshire County Council 4 minutes later

Perhaps with some of the additional revenue from the UCI event and associated traffic chaos that HBC have unleashed on Harrogate residents , they could provide additional street lighting on Valley Drive. In winter this street is extremely dark and looks like something from Victorian England. It's potentially dangerous. Please act now before there is either criminal or serious traffic incidents as a result.

  • At this time of year, the darkness on Valley Drive is almost total and pitch black on certain parts of Valley Drive. Be aware. This is dangerous and the lack of sufficient street lighting is wilful negligence by NYCC.
