The street light has been recently changed outside number 30 chinnor rd. It was way too bright for this street and (after complaint) has been recently adjusted so it wont shine on opposite buildings. In doing so(adjusting) you made the light reflecting straight into the number 28,30 and 32 windows! Its as bright as day light now. Totally ridiculous! Please do something about it.

It is good to have the road illuminated at last. Please leave the lights as they are. The purchase of a black out blind would solve this. What is better a dark dangerous road or a well lit road?

Thank you for your anonymous comment..and thank you for a really helpful suggestion to buy a black out blinds. Really helpful :( There was no need to purchase a blackout blinds when we moved 3 years ago. Why should I do it now? I have never said I want the light to go. Like i said previously, after a week of the light being repaired, it has been adjusted (a blind was fitten on one side) for the light to stop shining directly on the opposite buildings(neighbours complaint about being too bright) By doing that the light now refects directly on the 3 buildings. So simple blind fitted on our side of the light would also solve the problem. Like it did for the opposite buildings. Thank you.

All new lights are LED now and these are brighter lights. You should fit a blind because you are not pleased with the light. There was not always street lights on this road, it would not orginally have had lights at that time maybe the owner had to buy thicker curtains, I doubt black out blinds were widely available then Someone would have owned the house before it had lights, it had an old light and now has a new light, things change. The council don't provide lights for you, all street lights are being changed over to LED lights so all roads will be brighter.
