The granite memorial trough appears to have been stolen

I have reported it to the metropolitan police online This may be a trip hazard as it has left a hole in the pavement-

However they may want to investigate the scene of crime Here is crime ref number

  • This is the history behind this memorial it was erected 102 years ago... it’s an absolute shame... can you advise how we can campaign to get a replacement

  • It appears that nothing has been done yet. I’m concerned about the sharp copper piping sticking upwards Iits very hazardous - esp if someone trips it could cause serious harm
