Road falling away

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 23:45, Sun 15 September 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1768422.

The road has been marked in places, but not all problem areas. It’s not just one area - it’s all the way along that road ! It looks like someone has chucked a little bit of grey shingle in one patch, but it’s still uneven and dangerous, that’s NOT a repair !

Updates

  • Parts of this road have been marked out for work (for several months now), the road is getting worse daily & still no work has been done to make it safer. It’s the entire stretch of road from the bridge to Kings Lynn Tyres entrance (from Saddlebow to Kings Lynn)

  • It’s so bad now that people are driving in the middle of the road to avoid it or swerving - so very dangerous. I can’t believe nothing has been done about it yet !! I suppose we need to wait for an accident to happen !

  • The road from Saddlebow village bridge up to Discount Tyres is still getting worse. Nothing has been done to the marked areas ( which it’s been do long since they were marked, you can barely see where it was marked - not that you need markings - just drive down the road and see/feel for yourself ) I should imagine there will be lots of cars needing new suspension or tyres from this !!!
