Collapsed tree across the footpath on Alcester Rd Stratford approx 100 yards east of the Darlow Drive junction

Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category anonymously at 19:24, Sat 14 September 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

A large tree has collapsed at the side of the footpath opposite 82 Alcester Road. The tree is now lying on its side and is totally blocking the footpath and partially blocking the cyclepath. A large amount of the dead branches at the top of the tree are sticking out at head height, at a variety of angles. As they are at head height, the sharp ends of the branches could easily cause facial injuries to pedestrians/cyclists using the path, particularly at night when it's harder to see once the streetlights turn off. The tree has been down for around 1-2 weeks I believe.
