  • I drove into Baltic avenue on Friday 9th with a colleague of mine to visit a client at rose court for some documents to be signed. My colleague was waited for me. Signed and approx 4:30pm, I returned and started driving ahead to join the A4. My speed was 10-15mph. Almost immediately, we felt an extremely hard noise and straightaway, both my right side tyres were punchered. Having pulled up on the side of the road, me and my colleague noticed this raised concrete structure with absolutely no warning signs or indication on it. As darkness was falling in, I did not notice this structure. If you refer to the photos which I have taken, it’s obvious that there has been previously some sort of signage or warning that this raised structure is there. But it seems that this has been remove And you can see that in the middle of this structure, there is a provision for a metal pole. While waiting for the RAC recovery, we noticed many cars making last second manoeuvres to avoid this concrete structure. I believe that, Hounslow council have not addressed clear and concise signage for drivers to avoid this structure.as there is no signage on this raised concrete, I urge Hounslow council to address this issue without delay. This caused me great discomfort. My car was transported to a tyre garage in Slough. Today as a temporary measure, I had 2 tyres replaced at a cost of £130 Also, my car sustained abrasions on the front bumper. I have had a verbal qoute of approx, £400 to have this rectified.but in due course, I will obtain a written quote. I will claim all costs incurred from Hounslow council As I believe the council are responsible for the dangerous state of this raised striucture which had no signage of any kind on it. I would acknowledge a quick reply on this matter please. Thank you
