Conifer Hedge blocking footpath, the hedge imposes on th Public Footpath by up to 1 metre , it is approximately 4 metres high.It is not possible for two people to pass without contact with it.It is particularly unpleasant in wet weather, especially if I try to take my pushchair and 4 year old Daughter along it .This situation has gone on far too long . Please see enclosed photos , it is interesting to note that All Low Branches have been cut on Owners side and Screen Fencing put up . I assume NyQuil will contact the owner and inform them the are Breaking the Law , it is Illegal to infringe on a Public Right of way . Iawit to see what action you take on this issue before getting a petition signed and sent to the Local Papers

This Hedge has partially blocked a Public Footpath for Months . Has to be Cut Back before onset of Winter , It is Impossible for Two people to pass without contact , particularly in wet weather

  • Re. Your email 19/09/2019 As you can see the Householder has Not cut back this Illegal Obstruction , it Still overhangs by 1/2 metre (20 Inches ) How long is this going to be allowed? For Two people to pass , one either has to walk on the Grass Verge or be in considerable contact with the Hedge, Both of which are most unpleasant in the wet weather Can you please tell me what action is to be taken to correct this Illegal Obstruction ?
