Drain outside the Post House is blocked

The drain, immediately outside the Post House on Kitsmead Lane is blocked. The water main burst last week was fixed by Affinity Water and now the land is full of sandy clay across a third of the road. As the drain is blocked, this will not be washed down the drain. Please can the road be cleaned and the drain urgently unblocked. Thank you.

SCC have confirmed drain will be cleared this month.

SCC said the drain was to be visited during their schedule round in November but drain remains blocked with standing waters across the carriageway and water being flown onto property adjacent (and no doubt into post box) as cars accerlate along Kitsmead Lane. Please can this be dealt with as promised.

Drain is still blocked and flood waters now going down the road and into property grounds.
