Curb stone on right of entrance
Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 20:29, Wed 4 September 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1756342.
I live at The Paddocks, Fawley court farm, Marlow Road, Henley-on-Thames, England, RG9 3AW. According to the records the entrance and initial drive way is owned and hence maintained by the Bucks county council. On the entrance there is a broken curb stone that needs replacing and the brick driveway further into Fawley court farm is in rather bad shape and as far as I am aware has not benefited from any attention from the council in many years and has had to be maintained by the 5 house owners at our costs and efforts. Could you please confirm you will be able to send someone to address this or alternatively transfer the ownership of what is essentially our drive way to the home owners so we can fund and fix these issues please.

Hello, I appreciate the removal of the broken curb stone, however, I would of thought a new curb stone would of been brought along to drop in place... We have had no curb stone and big red barrier surrounding it for almost a month now. Could you please let us know when someone will be coming back to put the new curb stone in place? Regards

I am another neighbour. Just what is going on? Ypu said the repair would be carried out in 5 days on 17th September but nothing has been done. The small area concerned (one kerb stone) is surrounded by an unsightly red screen. Quite apart from the extraordinary delay in repairing this small item coupled with your broken promise, are you aware that this is part of the Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? Restrictions are in place to ensure that unsightly items such as this screen are kept to a minimum. Please attend to this matter without further delay

The curb stone was taken away in Oct 19 which left with a large hole very near to a bus stop that children frequently use. The plastic fencing that was left around the hole has blow away and all over the road causing dangerous traffic conditions given it is on a fast bend. It also mean a dangerous trip hazard at the hole given it is not cordended off any more. I suggest this is fixed very quick before you have a legal case raised against you. Why it takes almost 5 months to bring a new curb stone and drop in place is beyond me...

Hello, I appreciate at this point in time you may well be on limited staff etc. However, it would be well received to see an update provided on here in terms of a date when the new curb stone will be put in place please? This has now been going on 8 months which is not in favour for either side. We have messaged, emailed and called, every time we are not able to get a commitment date to replace this stone. It would be gratefully received if you could please finally commit to a date and share on here. Thanks, David Bruce.
