Hedge/trees overgrown and obstructing footpath by development land.

Reported in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 11:26, Wed 4 September 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1755592.

The rough hedge adjacent to the proposed development land is overgrown and completely obstructing the single pavement. It has been like this for at least six months as the hedge has not been cut for some years and therefore is dangerous for pedestrians who have to walk in the road. As well as this, brambles and thorns in the hedge catch on skin and clothing of people trying to walk along. When the hedge is wet the branches are lower still completely preventing safe passage of pedestrians. This pavement was put in as a safety measure for people walking to/from school. It is very dangerous now as growth is also restricting drivers' view around the bend in the road too. This road is currently more of a cut through than ever and excessive vehicle speed is also a problem..
