Thank you for fixing the potholes. It would help if the road markings for the junction and preferably some double yellow lines on both sides of the junction mouth could be added. We have cars parking opposite the junction on the High Street, cars parking in the junction mouth. Particularly a problem of view and access now the mornings and evenings are getting darker. People park in the junction whilst waiting for buses to drop off/collect children etc. The latter was never a problem until the bus stop was moved to the entrance of Woodlands. Buses frequently block the junction and restrict the view of the High Street and the entrance to Woodlands. Police have attended in the last couple of years and the situation improves for a while, but it is an accident waiting to happen. Highways Officers attendance and assistance will be appreciated. thank you.

  • I am the Cycle Training Instructor for Standlake and I would really appreciate the white lines being re-painted at the Woodlands-High Street Junction. It's impossible for the children to recognise the lines. Lines at Manor Crescent and the triangle on The Green are also poor, but Woodlands is the worst. There has been a mark on the pavement to show that the lines would be re-done for at least 9 months now.
