Litter, weeds in kerbs and general lack of maintenance.

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 2 minutes later

The streets in Ladygrove are disgusting. There are huge weeds growing up in the kerbs, virtually on every street. The area looks totally unkept. We never see a road sweeper, they only ever seem to do certain streets, I can only assume its based on the certain individuals that live on that street. The council are happy to allow ever more houses to be built in the Didcot area, but the established residents see their area neglected and very little maintenance is carried out.

  • The section of your enquiry reference weeds has been brought to the attention of Oxfordshire County Council by South Oxfordshire District Council. Unfortunately I have to advise you that the County Council does not have a budget available for either the general removal of weeds or weed spraying. I am led to understand that the Town Council did carry out weed spaying but that was until there was a complaint received two years ago. Sorry I am unable to be of more help at this time.
