Dead tree

19 Rafford Way. Several years ago you removed a mature tree and replaced it with a sapling. Years later this has become a tree. Recently you dug up the footpath and the tree roots must have been damaged as it is now dead. Can this be replaced with a mature tree and not another sapling that I have to wait for years and years to mature?

Alas all these weeks later and you have still not replaced the tree. My question is can you please plant something mature and not another sapling? the last replacement you planted that was killed when work to the footpath was undertaken, took so many years to grow so little so if you plant another sapling I'm looking at the next ten years of waiting for something to grow.

We have not started planting this year yet and will be planting up to the end of March 2020 All the trees are roughly the same size Borough wide.
Thank you
