Lack of footpath connecting but stop and parking bays to the adjacent properties

Reported anonymously at 17:26, Mon 2 September 2019

Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

As can be seen from the photos, there is a bus stop and purpose built parking bays at Beaumont Road. The parking bays and bus stop are separated from the adjacent houses by a wide grass verge that is rutted and bumpy. There is no path leading from the bus stop or parking bays across he verge. Residents have reported injuring themselves (sprained ankle and other injuries) crossing the verge, especially in the dark or winter. The only altenative is for residents who alight at the bus stop or park their cars to walk along the road to the corner of Beaumont Road and Schofield Road. A footpth needs to be constructed across the verge (as has been done elsewhere on the estate) so that residents and bus passengers can cross the verge in safety. This is especially important to anyone using a wheelchair or pushing a pram.
