I contacted CDC as per your message. Their reply is : - An email has recently been given to me regarding the enquiry re the hedge between Waller Drive and Salt Way on the A361 which is obstructing the sight line when leaving Waller Drive. It appears that this has been to Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) and they have referred you to Cherwell District Council. I have checked the OCC highway plans we hold and can confirm that this is not a Cherwell District Council responsibility. The land on which the hedge is growing (OS Plan 4439 SW) clearly shows it as being publicly maintainable by OCC and it would therefore be their responsibility to respond to your enquiry.
Can you please decide between yoursives and your contractor wjo is to do this work ?

Re my report concerning the overhanging and obstructive hedge between Waller Drive and Salt Way,, the Category should, of course read 'Hedge'. I have no idea where 'Flyposting ' came from - fumbling fingers ?. Many thanks PM.

You asked whether the cycle route sign had been replaced. The finger sign has NOT been re-erected BUT there is a sign indicating Cycle Route 5 nailed on the Way Post just inside the atart of the Way. There is a 'Do not tip rubbish' sign on a post close by which is nearly lost in the overgrown hedge and a a finger sign could be displyed there, thus saving a post. Cannot the cyclists up-date you ? Oh I forgot they cannot afford even a warning bell !
