Signage needed (Trimingham RB 1)

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 22:59, Sunday 1 September 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later

At grid reference TG 2725 3909, the byway leaves the track running along the field edge, to head off across the field, but this fact is far from obvious on the ground to anybody unfamiliar with the locality. For one thing, the 'cross-field' part of the byway is being rendered hardly visible, through getting ploughed up. And for another thing, the occupier of the land is promoting the continuation of the field-edge track southwards as a means of access to his holiday park. Clear signage is needed here. The Norfolk County Council has, rightly, provided signage at TG 2744 3888; however, it is illogical to suppose that signage is not similarly needed at the location in question.
