Dying tree close to houses

Reported in the Dying or dangerous tree category anonymously at 14:48, Sun 1 September 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Hounslow Borough Council 4 minutes later

The tree outside 70 Swyncombe Avenue appears to be dead (in foreground of the photos attached, not the green tree behind). There has been no new growth on it during the spring/summer 2019 and it looks to be at the end of its life. The tree is very large and very close to the houses. If it is dead then I'm concerned it could fall onto the houses during a storm. One branch in particular looks close to cracking (see close up photo) Roots from this tree have also in the past caused cracking in the wall outside 70 Swyncombe Avenue .

  • Seems no update on this tree. It is massive and clearly dead so could cause a major issue if it falls over!!!

  • The tree is dangerous and too big for the road. It needs to be urgently and the roots are pulling up the pavement and causing subsidence
