18inch pothole road defect about 2 ft from kerb on downward side Romsey Rd near entrance to new building site

When cycling downhill towards Winchester it is hard to see ahead to see thus enormous defect- a cyclist is going to really hit this hard and cause injury to self, other road users, and lastly, bike damage- it would be easy to get hurled into the path of upward traffic, and as the road is narrow, a car cannot overtake easily and be going downhill, and would not be able to stop as fast should the cyclist come off. One of the worst potholes in the area to sort please.
