Hand rail dmaaged in a speeding accident still not replaced

Reported in the Damage to pavement category by Monica Trinder at 13:31, Thursday 29 August 2019

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later

A speeding accident damaged the railiings on the A39 on the 16th July. I was informed that the replacement rails would take 6 weeksto arrive and that time has now elapsed. Please can you inform me when the repair will take place? The new school term is about top star andthis needs to be consideredin the timing as it will encumber childrren and their parents/carers accessing the walkway.

  • Despite an update notifying me the problem had been fixed I received an email stating that there was yet another problem with supplying the railings and it would not be completed for another 4-6 weeks. So the update was incorrect and the issue not dealt with.

  • Still not fixed and still not an idea when it will be. A date for completion would be great.
