Sent to Lancashire County Council and West Lancashire Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1747900.
I have previously reported this to LCC their ref W412913 and again the end of July. They come back beginning of August to say this isn’t their land. This waste land between 19 & 25 De Haviland Way has grown out of hand, the amount of knotweed that I have to keep cutting back off my own bedded plants, thorn branches also, which all comes up through my decking. A guy (company from Rainford) came out a few years back to cut this all back and then said he will treat it all the stop all this overgrowth coming into and ruining my own property, which this has failed to stop this.
I’m requesting you to cut this back and ensure all sides of 25 De Haviland Way will not get anymore growth from this abandoned wasteland. This area is not accessible to the public as this is a fenced/locked gated area.
Please confirm this land overgrowth will be addressed and cut back in a yearly basis if not treated?!
What are the future plans for this land? Can you not turn this in to a public footpath?
