Unsafe bollards

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:55, Fri 23 August 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1742726.

There are bloopers here that are completely unrequired and in the current state of the ‘segregated’ cycle way are damn right dangerous too. While attempting to navigate my way through here today I was forced to swerve abruptly due to not seeing until late that there was not enough room to manoeuvre a mountain bike through what has become a very narrow ‘segregated’ cycle way. This is because of unkemp encroaching vegetation. Unfortunately I couldn’t swerve or slow fast enough and caught my handlebars on the bollard. Why are these bollards here, they have no purpose? It’s absurd and as I say dangerous. SCC is making great efforts to improve cycling safety. Please could you do the same. Thank you
