Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 21:27, Wednesday 21 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 1740392.

Trees on public footpath are nearly touching my house roof. When windy, branches are hitting my house. If left they will cause damage to my property. Could you please arrange to have them trimmed as soon as possible.

  • Many thanks. The County Council's responsibility is limited to clearing vegetation to enable walkers to use the footpath.
You'll either need to cut these trees back yourself or contact the owner of the land over which the footpath runs (Land Registry will have the information).
