See Summary - The Verges on the A1508 are a disgrace and totally overgrown causing no drainage of water and heavy rain/mud to spill in the road, and both sides of the road are looking very unsightly.

Verges on the A508 are mown twice per year for safety related purposes to stop the encroachment ofbriars and woody plants these are not affecting the drainage infrastructure. Sweeping of the highway is a district council function and is carried out by DDC on a cyclic basis.
