Hedging overgrown, obstructing half the pavement between 511 - 513 Bath Road. Has been like this for a few months

  • Still causing a problems for pedestrians - this is a very busy main road. Hedge cutting is now urgently required.

  • The overhanging hedges at 511 and 513 Bath Road Saltford BS31 3HQ are continuing to be a significant obstacle to pedestrians especially those partially sighted or with limited mobility. This overgrown vegetation is forcing people into the busy A4 at a point near a pedestrian refuge and a bus stop opposite. It is a busy section of pavement. Needs action. Safety issue.

  • Why has nothing been done?! Urgently needs fixing before a pedestrian ends up in the busy road.

  • The Council's apparent lack of action to deal with this safety issue is the subject of a formal complaint sent to BANES on 4 November. Their response is awaited.

  • The overhanging vegetation at 511 Bath Road has now been cleared by the householder. 513 remains with its overgrown hedge protruding onto the pavement
