Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1733014.
Last night I was walking my Cocker Spaniel and a dog suddenly appeared from nowhere and charged against my dog. It was a pretty stressing experience for son and myself as my dog was being savaged by this aggressive dog. As the dog attacked my dog I shouted by saying to my son "Let's kick the dog" we started kicking it but it would not let go of my dog. Immediately, I reacted and lifted my dog as I didn't know what else to do. The aggressive dog seemed to be ready to comeback but as I try to get away from him. I asked my son to get some photos of the dog and keep an eye to see where it would go. My son managed to get some photos but it growled at him and he got scared. Neighbours came out to see what happened. Nobody knew the dog. In a matter of 2 minutes a woman came from the address above. Opened the main door of block of flats. We all asked her if it was her dog. She did not respond. I could see that the dog recognised her as it got closed to her and got inside the block of flats. I shouted from the other side of the road, asking if it was her dog. She responded quietly (my son heard) saying, she thought so. I went back this morning to take some photos of the block and maybe see if could find the irresponsible owner but didnt make any progress.

I live in Charlton SE7 7NH. I have lived in Charlton for nearly 20 yeards now.
I am very concerned about the nature of this aggressive dog.
I am most concerned about the fact that the dog was allowed to be without a lead and supervision of the owner. My son and dog were exposed to a naturally aggressive dog.
