Large, Deeply Sunken Drain on Dalry Road 10 feet from entrance to Co-op Car Park

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 18:49, Wednesday 14 August 2019

Sent to Edinburgh City Council 2 minutes later

This deeply sunken drain is a hazard to all traffic travelling into the city centre. It's deep enough to damage cars travelling at very slow speeds. It's located in front of the former Maplin store. Today, there was almost a traffic accident when a car driver ahead of me attempted to avoid the 'pothole' at the last minute and almost crashed into an oncoming bus. The drain has been sunken for at least the past year and seems to have been 'missed' by the Council's supposed road inspections. If it's not sorted soon, there will be accidents (if they haven't already occurred).
