Appalling level of litter on road side

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1731921.

Since the road side verges and central reservation all along the length of this road until Nuneham Courtney have been mowed, an appalling level of litter has now been exposed. Why can't a litter picking team work alongside the highway maintenance team so that litter is collected at the same time as the mowing takes place? Surely this would save a lot of time and money?
