Erosion of road

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:42, Wednesday 14 August 2019

Sent to Lancashire County Council 4 minutes later

The road has been eroded over a period of months. This has made an already narrow road even narrower. It is also causing safety issues for pedestrians and vehicles. There is no pavement so pedestrians have to move to the side of the road to avoid vehicles which are often going very fast. The erosion causes the potential for twisted ankles and other injuries as well as meaning that pedestrians may end up standing in 4 to 5 inches of water. It also makes it difficult for cars to pull over to allow others to pass and poses a high risk of damage to tires.
