Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 1730382.
Noticed this morning (13th august 2019), probably caused by heavy lorries and buses being diverted down east avenue this week
Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

This hole is growing larger - it is now >6cm deep and has built up a ridge >10cm. It lies on a piece of road that has been tarmaced over and looks like it is above a water main/pipe under the road, so I am concerned that further damage could cause damage to this.
The diversion route has only been in place since yesterday morning so this needs to be looked at urgently as it is likely to worsen rapidly. I have called the Highways Team at the council to report it as an urgent issue and they have created a duplicate issue under the name "Pothole", logged at 16:12.

This hole is lifting and collapsing very quickly due to the mass of the busses and other heavy vehicles passing over it every few minutes on a very harsh angle, please do something before it collapses into the filled drain below it!
