Tree roots and tree growth

The tree outside 42 Murray Ave was meant to be pruned 12 months ago as promised when we last reported it as a issue no work on pruning growth was done but roots were looked at no work done and tarmac just laid over to create a hump. It now has sent up a large side shoot as well as going on to lift paving stones and making tarmac very in even. Last week Thanks water repaired a leak at site and said the new plastic pipe not to old had been caused to crack by the tree roots causing constant movement as they grew..the roots exposed during this work werelarge and small and all heading towards my property...
