Rubbish & pine needles need sweeping

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:45, Sat 10 August 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1727616.

Litter & pine needles have littered the pavement & HIGHWAY surface & need to have a road sweeper clean the rubbish & pine needles away before the rains come & wash the rubbish into road storm drains & block them. Strange that lymington high street & other roads around Lymington get a weekly road sweep & yet arterial road like A337 is ignored

  • I slipped on leaves getting to the bus stop & hurt my wrist. DO I sue the council for personal injury knowing I can prove they were aware of eaves & pine needles on the pavement & road surface? In autumn the leaves must be swept once a week or council will face serious court claims in future when their negligence causes injuries to the public
