Large ground based litter bin required on the corner of Newark Road (west side) and Doddington Road (south side).

Reported in the Bench/cycle rack/litter bin/planter category anonymously at 22:27, Fri 9 August 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Lincoln City Council 3 minutes later

A large amount of litter is carelessly discarded mainly by pedestrians, especially late at night. I regularly need to use waders to clear rubbish from the Pike / stream. Upper Witham Internal Drainage Board occassionally clear debris from the pike, but just place it in our garden for us to dispose of! As we have a sleuce gate, a lot of floating debris from upstream accumalates here and is deposited in our garden for us to then dispose of! Please help us minimse all this with, by positioning a large floor based litter bin on this corner. Many thanks.

  • Dear Sir / Madam,

This has definitely NOT been fixed! Please clarify and correct on ‘fix my street’.

N.B. The road marking spray can from the recent Road works that I reported last week is still floating in the pike, now joined by other bottles and cans! Am I expected to get in and remove it myself? A litter bin at this corner would help.
