Thank you for your e-mail regarding the street lighting outside your property at Manorsfield Rd The street lighting would be designed to the British Standard, the design would have been carried out by either Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) on behalf of the developer or a third party consultant which OCC would need to approve. This should be carried out at the beginning stages of the legal agreement with OCC but all communications with potential purchasers would be through the developers as they would be installing and maintaining the street lights until at such time the development is adopted as highway. Therefore it is the developers responsibility and you would need to contact them direct regarding the position of this light and any alterations would need to be agreed by the developer and OCC to ensure that the road remains lit to the required levels
