Drain blocked because of grass mowing build up
Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 19:37, Thu 8 August 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later
This is a drain on Old Budbrooke Road adjacent to The Warwicks in Hampton Magna. It was inset into the verge after the previous drain continually sunk. The situation now is that grass cuttings accumulate after mowing and are also driven down from the road after rain. They have blocked the drain to the extent that the resulting humus has weeds growing out of it.

The drain appears to have been cleared so that rainwater can now flow down the drain. However the process that lead to get original problem is still proceeding. See photograph. The drain appears to need regular attention.
