Sent to Harborough District Council and Leicestershire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1724671.

It appears that a number of cars are using this residential road as a shortcut to miss the increasing traffic delays on Broughton Way (B581) due to the traffic lights that have been implemented following a new housing estate, shops and planned leisure facilities. Those that are using this as a shortcut are driving at excessive speeds (40-60 mph) in a 30mph limit. I have witnessed a number of accidents and near misses in the last few months and action needs to be taken.
