The drain at the corner of Main Street and School Lane in Peatling Magna is completely blocked by roadside dust, mud and thick foliage. For the past 29 years I have cut and maintained the verges in Main Street and School Lane adjoining my property and I am not about to take on the job of unblocking drains. Due to the slope of the bank the verge in School Lane has crept into the road for about a foot so rain water cannot flow.
