Ongoing Waste Management Concern

Reported via Android in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 13:21, Tuesday 6 August 2019

Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later

Constantly overflowing commercial bin serving local fish restaurant is constantly being overfilled with rotting food waste. This area is constantly having to deal with public complaining of horrible smell. Local business are also effected as clients leave due to smell in this area. The establishment owning this area needs additional bin to cater for all waste and to ensure bins are locked at all times.

  • This bin is constantly being filled up with food (fish) waste from the Blue Harbour Restaurant. The whole area smells to high heaven and even when the bin is emptied (one a week) it is not disinfected/cleaned out. Surely the restaurant should be forced to use a private company to get rid of such waste and more than once a week. Our business is suffering, we have a window display and nobody wants to stand and look at our advertisements due to the disgusting smell around this area.
