Possible Flytipping??

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 18:15, Fri 2 August 2019

Sent to Halton Borough Council 5 minutes later

34 Saddlers Rise Norton. Recently had a nice new drive , work carried out by Sid Smith from Widnes. Mr Smith placed a pallet with a nice sign advertising his business adjacent to the lamp post on the entrance to Saddlers Rise.... Where is the sign now?? It is adjacent to a HBC bin in Eanleywood Lane! How did it get there???? Why didn't Mr Smith take the sign away with him upon completion of his works? Do the owners of 34 Saddlers Rise know this sign has been "dumped " here?

However, the sign did not get there by itself, as its quite heavy . HBC needs to investigate this matter ASAP

  • 05.08.19. I spoke with the builder and informed him about his sign being dumped . He said he would have it collected! However, the sign has now been moved right to the bottom of Norton Lane adjacent to the house ( exterior brick wall ) off Windmill Avenue east where you turn in for the busway entrance.
