Correct lane markings required
Reported via iOS in the Road markings category anonymously at 23:17, Tue 30 July 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1714334.
Correct lane markings required ASAP. Too many accidents are caused by drivers using lane 3 which has a straight on arrow then cutting across in front of correct road users. Lane three should have a right arrow on it to take drivers towards Binley. The signage is also incorrect.

Look I have beed on this for 3 years now, but sod all, email Danielle Bayton, ----------------------------------- Dear Mr Batty Thank you for your email dated 17 July 2019, I apologise for the delay in responding to you. I’ve spoken with the team delivering the A46 Binley to Tollbar Scheme. The work was planned to be completed between 8 and 12 July 2019, however this has been postponed due to other priorities on the network. The strategic road network is constantly reviewed through an occupancy management system which enables us to coordinate work and minimise disruption for road users, for both planned and emergency works. As previously mentioned, although faded the road markings are not considered to be safety critical and so would not be prioritised should there be a conflict. At present we plan to begin the scheme, which will include the refreshing of the road markings, on 21 October 2019. Again, this is subject to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. I appreciate that the delay may be disappointing. However, our inspectors will of course continue to monitor the location in the interim. We will also update you in relation to the permanent traffic light repair at the roundabout as mentioned in my colleagues email of 18 July. Kind regards Danielle Bayton, Customer Correspondence Executive High Level Correspondence Team - Operations Midlands Highways England | The Cube | 199 Wharfside Street | Birmingham | B1 1RN Web: www.highwaysengland.co.uk

The signage and lane direction arrows are incorrect. It just needs someone to paint the arrows in the correct shape/direction to aid in cutting the road rage issues. FYI Council/Highways. BQ is nearby buy some paint from there....
