  • Thank you for your report, can you please advise if this is still an issue. The heavy rain from yesterday may have caused temporary flooding as the drains can't take all the water away at once.

  • It’s clearly better than yesterday. But the drains still appear blocked. When I took the photos it’s wasn’t raining that badly. So all need clearing.

  • Clearly the flood has now gone. However the gully drain still hasn’t been repaired and is dangerous.

  • Thank you for your report, I can advise all storm drains link to main (storm) drains, which are maintained by Thames Water. Many of the storm mains are not large enough anymore for the capacity of water that can fall in flash flooding situations. Once the mains are full no further water can be drained away, and can sometimes cause water to surcharge back up the gully causing puddles to form around the gully or drain. Once it stops raining the storm main will slowly drain away meaning the current puddle will also drain away. If the issue persists once the rain has stopped then we can investigate further.

  • The drain are still blocked and water never fully runs away. The drains all up the rd are useless.

  • Yes it’s stopped raining. However the drains are still not draining. They appear blocked. But the slightest bit of rain and they flood again.

  • The corner of old rd and tit up hall drive there is a drain which is constantly blocked even when it’s not raining. When it does rain it causes havoc.

  • The road is still has excessive water. The drain by the old crown and thistle pub is the main contributor to This issue as it’s constantly blocked no matter what the weather is. If this was unblocked then it would help the flooding.
