At around 14:30 on 29th July, a tree and lamppost have been knocked over and are leaning into the front gardens of 56 and 58 Pickhurst rise, respective. Regarding the above damage to the pavement, lamp post and tree, the most important thing is the fact that the lamp post has just been temporarily pushed upright by the men who attended to the tree, and therefore could be quite dangerous as it seems that it could be quite unstable. The pavement is in a dangerous condition. It has been like this for over 10 days.

We have read all these reports and are still waiting 7 WEEKS later for this to be repaired. Its diabolical that this has not been touched by the council in all that time. It was the tree operatives who are contractors, not the council, who put barriers around it and these have been moved by the public beacuse it is too dangerous to walk in the road.

This is a complete joke. Does this look like itโs fixed?? Could someone from the council take control of this and get this FIXED once and for all. There is something clearly amiss with your process and the performance of your contractor when jobs like this are taking this long to deal with. Formal complaint being written.

Does the Council consider this safe: that a yellow barrier sits unlit in the road and could pose a danger to moving traffic; that there are no advance warning signs to vehicles advising of a narrowing of the road or pedestrians; that the barriers on the pavement are just left strewn and not doing the job that they are meant to be doing?
