Dangerous lack of visibility when pulling out of Elwill Way

Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 14:39, Saturday 27 July 2019

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The bushes on the pavement on the southbound side of Wickham Way between Elwill Way and Hayes Way have now represented a serious danger for road users for years. The bushes are regularly trimmed but it is not enough. When driving out of Elwill Way onto Wickham Way, it is impossible to see any cars coming southbound along Wickham Way without pulling halfway across the road (which is clearly extremely dangerous). I have personally witnessed several very near-misses due to this issue. Whilst the bushes add to the character of the road, they now represent an ongoing danger and some of them (particularly those closest to Elwill Way) should be removed before any collision occurs.
