Riverside walk gardens overgrown with drug paraphalia drug needles
Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 12:56, Sun 21 July 2019
Sent to Norwich City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1703684.
This fishing spot is part of the norwich riverside walk which ncc have been given thousands to promote yet cant be bothered to look after the gardens at the quay side have not been cut for two years now, the tree is overhanging into the river and now drug users use it daily to inject which isnt a great sight if you live opposite like i do. This is the main tourist walk in Norwich but is an eyesore and embarassment.

Today the river is now full of cans after a group of men sat drinking and playing loud music under the tree all afternoon. Ending in one getting his penis out in front of us all again and peeing in the river, the chucking the cans in the river before staggering off and shouting at neighbours. (we have video of this) when asked to put the cans in the bin he said there is no bin to which he is right the green bin at the top of the stairs is not there. Hence all the rubbish being blown in the river each day.

Still a mess over a month later. Seems the council really doesn't care about its much promoted riverside walk and hundreds of tourists that do it each day.

Still the same... Tree hanging even more across the path and into the river. Drug hiding, taking and using still happening in broad day light under it...
