Significant dip in tarmac which stretches right across the road by numbers 77 &79.
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:09, Thu 18 July 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1701097.
This rut is too deep to be approached at 29 miles per hour in an ordinary car. It should be filled in, but in the meantime a warning is needed (e.g. bright paint on tarmac) as this is like a ramp, but upside-down! It has been like this for some weeks, possibly longer. A deeper pothole part way along has already been filled in, but it was only part of the problem.

I reported the hole and the slump/rut which extends right across the road to the Council on 27 June 2019 (Ref: 16176634). It was investigated and the hole temporarily filled but the rut remains and is getting worse, deeper and extending right across the street. Presumably the problem results from work undertaken connecting pipes to new properties. This is a significant hazard to vehicles and especially dangerous to cyclists cycling down the hill with the risk of injury.... or worse. Work needs to be undertaken immediately to rectify the problem and hazard warning signs erected to protect the public.
