Restricted pavement used by primary school children

Reported via Android in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 09:10, Wednesday 17 July 2019

Sent to Lancashire County Council 5 minutes later

The footpath is very overgrown especially with nettles. This piece of pavement is directly between my house and Sharneyford primary and my 10 year old walks daily. The nettles force him to walk along the very edge, on the kerb, and traffic can be heavy and travelling faster than the 30 mph speed limit. It is very dangerous. I have reported it before and the area was strimmed but obviously has grown back. The wall is in need of repair as the boundary to the pavement which would provide a more permanent solution. Kind regards. Linda Copley
