  • The manholes are clunking again. One after the other and they keep us awake, I understand from our neighbours that they are disturbing them also. One of the neighbours does shiftwork and his sleep is very disturbed during the day. We are utterly frustrated as no matter how often they are repaired the are inadequate and the problem reoccurs. Please could you arrange for them to be repaired again but this time permanently as it’s ridiculous for me to keep requesting repairs which are obviously costly and you complete the repairs but they last and insufficient amount of time.

This is not only affecting us in terms of noise but obviously a lack of sleep can affect our health to I would be grateful if you could address this problem as soon as possible.

As you will see from the records this is I think the third time at least I’ve had to report the same problem. I also know that the neighbours have done so too.

Thank you for your kind attention.

    Mrs Manning
